1. Since the earrings are made of clay, are they heavy?

Surprisingly no, our handcrafted earrings are mainly made of polymer clay and they actually weigh light after baked. So you’ll enjoy the privilege of wearing statement earrings without the heavy weights!


2. Are your earrings hypoallergenic?

We use mainly metal posts made of stainless steel and quality plated metal alloy.
Generally, stainless steels are considered to be hypoallergenic whereas the plated alloys are mostly nickel-free.


3. Will there be backorders for ‘Out of Stock’ earrings?

We are gratefully happy to know that our designs are well loved! For sold out collections,
we may be opening backorders for highly requested designs.

4. Do you have clip-on earring options?

Yes, we do. Please email us at hello@summerolive.com with your selected design and we will further advise on the proceedings.


5. I am buying the earrings as a gift. Do you provide personalized gift services?

For gifts, we are offering complimentary personalized message card to go with the earrings and our earrings are nicely wrapped for all purchases. Please drop us your message for the card in our "request / message" column during check out.

6. How do I make payment?

i. All payments for website orders shall be made via Paypal.
You will be re-directed to Paypal upon clicking "Buy Now" after confirming your order in the shopping cart.

ii. Alternatively, you may place your order with us through Instagram DM and payment can be made via bank transfer (available for local orders only).

** All orders will only be secured and confirmed upon submission of payment.


7. When will my order arrive?

Confirmed orders will be packed within 1-3 days and then be dispatched to our courier. We will provide you the tracking details via email once parcel is mailed out. For estimated delivery time, please refer to our ‘Shipping & Delivery’ page.


8. Bounced Back Parcels

In the event of bounced back parcel, customers will have to bear the full cost of re-delivery. Any claims for bounced back parcels after 14 days will not be entertained.


9. Are they fragile?

In general, they require minimum care as the earrings are made of baked polymer clay. But as any handcrafted item, small detailings on them may be delicate, therefore avoid friction against hard/rough surface.

Metal pieces used may tarnish over time, hence avoid contact with liquids and store them in zipper bags when not in use. Do not use any cleaning products on the pieces, we only recommend to use small brush with soft bristles to remove dust or particles.
